Prof Soubakeavathi (10. a.m – 11. a.m IST) – Professor and Head, University of Malaysia, Serawak

Souba Rethinasamy is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Language and Communication, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak(UNIMAS). She obtained her Ph.D. in Language Testing and Evaluation from the University of Roehampton, London. She has more than twenty years of experience in teaching the English language and related courses at the tertiary level. She pursues interests in language testing and evaluation, English medium instruction, ICT in language teaching, and education.

Dr Basavaraj P. Donur (11.15 a.m IST – 12.15 p.m) – Registrar I/C, Professor & Dean, School of Humanities and Languages Central University of Karnataka

Basavaraj is the Dean, School of Humanities and Languages, Registrar-in-charge of Central University of Karnataka. He has aPh.D. in Kannada and another Ph.D in English. He has been the member of the Jury for Kuvempu Bharathi Translation Award from 2011-2013, Member of the Jury for Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskara 2014 and Member of the Jury for K.K.Birla Foundation’s Saraswati Sanmana 2014.

Dr. Ganapathy S. (2.00 p.m – 3.00 p.m IST)- Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering, VIT Chennai, India

Dr. S. Ganapathy is the senior Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, VIT Chennai. He has14 years of teaching experience and his research areas include Data Analytics, Data Security, Network Security, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing. He is recognized as one of the Top 2% of scientists of the world by Stanford University and Elsevier Survey. He has 104 publications and 1672 citations

Dr Jennifer Edmond (3.30 p.m – 4.30 p.m IST), Associate Professor, School Office Language Literary & Cultural Studies, Trinity College, Dublin

Dr Jennifer Edmond, Associate Professor of Digital Humanities and Director of Strategic Projects for the Faculty of Arts,Humanities and Social Sciences in Trinity College Dublin and the co-director of the Trinity Center for Digital Humanities. She holds a PhD in Germanic Languages and Literature’s from Yale University. Jennifer is a member of the Board of Directors of the pan-European research infrastructure for arts and humanities, DARIAH. Additionally, she represents this body on the Open Science Policy Platform (OSPP), which supports the European Commission in developing and promoting Open Science policies.

Dr. Alan Godfrey A.(10. a.m – 12. p.m IST) Head & Assistant Professor, School of Social Work St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bengaluru,India

Dr. Alan Godfrey has five years of experience as a Social Work Educator and Field Work Coordinator. He is interested in Tribal Research, Public Health, Field Work Education in Social Work, gender and caste discrimination, and in the field of Community Development, Dalit and subaltern studies.

Dr Tim Allender (2 p.m – 3. p.m IST) Professor, University of Sydney

Tim Allender is Professor and Chair of History and Curriculum at the University of Sydney. He has published extensively on colonial India over the past 20 years. His most recent monograph Learning Femininity in Colonial India, 1820-1932 (Manchester University Press, 2016) won the Anne Bloomfield Book Prize, awarded by the HES (UK). Tim has also since published three co-edited books on History Didactics (2019), Transnational Femininity (2021) and on Visual Educational History (2021). Has has beena Visiting Professor at the IIAS, Shimla (2016); JNU, New Delhi (2017); University of Birmingham, UK(2019) and at the NIE, Singapore (2020). He is currently writing a monograph on Roman Catholic Religiosity and Empire.
