Applications are invited from interested candidates for Student Intern (1 No.) at the Department of Microbiology, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Tamil Nadu for a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded Start-up Research Grant (PNo.SRG/2020/002376).

Project Title: Metabolic engineering of microalgae for the production of secondary metabolites.
Post Title: Student Internship (01 No.)
Assistantship: Rs. 5,000/- (per month)
Duration: Two months (preferably between December 2022 to January, 2023)
Essential Qualifications: Currently as Post Graduate Student in Microbiology,
Biotechnology, life Sciences, Plant sciencesor Under Graduate Student in Engineering.
Desirable: Final year students of Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life sciences / Plant Sciences
Nature of Work: Biochemical analysis of secondary metabolites, Algae culturing and growth analysis, PCR and Protein isolation.
