Application Invited for Student Internship

The eligible candidates are requested to apply for one position of student internship under the DST-SERB (GAP-401) Core Grant Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) programme in the Toxicoinformatics Research Group/ Computational Toxicology.

Details of the Internship

  • Last date of Application: 11th May 2022

Title of the project: Discovery of potent natural analogues to overcome off-target toxicity of RNA: An integrated machine learning and chemoinformatics approach

Duration of internship: 2 Months

Essential Qualification: Pursuing M.Tech/ M.Sc./ B.Tech (Bioinformatics or
Biotechnology)
For M.Tech/ M.Sc. – Completing 2″d semester need only to apply
For B.Tech – Completing 6th semester need only to apply

Stipend: INR 5,000 p.m. for two months only

How to Apply: Eligible interested candidates meeting the above requirement may submit application along with a brief research statement (one page) by email to Principal Investigator along with the current CV.

Selection Criteria: Students will be selected based on their academic profile and brief research statement. Selected candidates will be intimated by email only regarding their selection.

General Conditions:

  1. The selected student will be supported by a financial assistantship of Rs.
    5,000pm for two months only.
  2. Financial support for other activities like travel, boarding, and lodging will not
    be provided.
  3. Student will have to make their own arrangements for stay during the
    internship period.

Job description: To conduct the research & development work required for the project using computational chemistry/biology approaches.
