Eligibility of the Scholarship
- The student finished Class 8 with a passing grade of 55% (or 50% for SC/ST)
- The family’s annual income is less than = Rs. 3,50,000 from all sources
- Students studying in India
- Students must take and pass the NMMS Scholarship 2024 exam
Scholarship Benefits
- Rs. 12,000 per annum to selected students from class 9 to 12.

Steps to fill the NMMS Application Form 2024 through NSP
- Students should go to the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) website, scholarships.gov.in, to apply for a scholarship. Students must register as new users by entering their names, email addresses, and birthdays.
- An OTP will be provided to their cellphone number to validate their mobile number; enter the OTP, then start filling out the form.
- Students must provide their bank, educational, and Aadhar information on the NMMS exam form.
- Upload the necessary scanned pictures, including birth certificates, caste certificates, and proof of residence. Make sure the documents are in the proper size and format.
- Once the NMMS form has been completed, double-check it before submitting it.
Exam Pattern
- The Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) will be the two sections of the test.
- Critical thinking and reasoning skills are tested through MAT questions. On the SAT, however, you will be asked questions about arithmetic, social science, and physics.
