About the Role

We are currently seeking an exceptional and dedicated individual to join our organisation as an Associate Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the hiring efforts for various functions, including Education Technology, Product Management, Data & Analytics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Program Implementation, Finance, Administration, People, Fundraising, and more. These roles will span across entry-level to senior-level positions, and your expertise in talent acquisition will be vital in ensuring we attract and acquire top-tier professionals. You will play a critical role in supporting our organisation’s growth objectives by ensuring the recruitment and selection of highly skilled professionals who align with our organisational values and contribute to our success. As the Associate Manager, you will be an integral part of our People team at Quest Alliance and report directly to the People Manager.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Support and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with team leads and leadership team to identify current and future talent needs.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies to enhance the candidate experience and increase the quality of hires.

Sourcing and Recruitment:

  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques and utilise various channels to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates, including resume review, phone screenings, interviews, and reference checks.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing, networking events, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and provide guidance on candidate selection.

Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

  • Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top talent. Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with the Communication team to create engaging job advertisements, career pages, and social media content to attract candidates.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to understand hiring needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview guides, and selection criteria.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on recruitment activities, including key metrics and insights.

Onboarding and Talent Development:

  • Collaborate with People Spoc and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Identify opportunities for talent development and succession planning within the organisation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition or similar role, preferably in tech related roles
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, and recruitment processes.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant HR software.
  • Prior experience of partnering with external consultants or organisations for technical sourcing
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
