Body & Mind
Importance of excercise conveyed through a poem… by Sridev Mohan

Next to the evening wind and sun
Sat I with a closed book.
The words in print weren’t fun
As my brain stopped, oh the ol’crook.
I started to blame that organ
For it was now totally of no use.
Not to mention all the exams where
I failed, as it plucked its own fuse.
And so I decided to ruminate
On the world and its days.
Then my eyes saw my body weight
From no work or sweat and lazy ways.
That’s when I felt my brain
become heavy and sad.
Though my mind was like a great dane
T’was making my body bad.
