The Centre for Himalayan Studies, Shiv Nadar loE, has announced the Non-Resident Fellowship for the time period December 15, 2024 to December 14, 2025. The fellowship supports advanced research on the wider Himalayan region’s challenges and opportunities with a focus on the economy, borders and identities, the environment, and regional geopolitics of the region, including the Hindu Kush and the Karakoram.
About the Fellowship
Candidates must have completed their PhD. Those with relevant work experience will be preferred
Fellows will be paid a consolidated stipend of ₹50,000 per month for a period of 12 months
Travel will be covered for two annual visits to the core team at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR
Research output:
- Monograph: 15,000-20,000 words by the end of the fellowship.
- Quarterly: Four Commentaries of 800-1,000 words and four Issue Briefs of 2,500-3,000 words.
