Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under ANRF funded project in the Department of Physics, Visva-Bharati
Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow on purely temporary basis in the research project “Effect of nonzero curvature on cosmological models of Dark Energy” sponsored by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the supervision of Dr. Sudipta Das, Principal Investigator, Department of Physics, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan.
About the Recruitment
Essential Qualifications:
- Candidates should have M.Sc. in Physics/Astrophysics with minimum 55% marks and NET and/or GATE qualification and age below 28 years at the time of application (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
- Salary: Rs. 37000+ HRA (as per SERB guidelines). The candidate should have taken at least a full paper on General Relativity/ Cosmology/Astrophysics at Masters level. Experience in Computer Programming (Python/C/FORTRAN) is desirable.
- The tenure of the project is 3 years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
- Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program of Visva-Bharati provided the candidate satisfy the eligibility criteria.
