Today, the world is embracing an ongoing social change that is restructuring all the material spheres of life, and at the same time, pushing the human consciousness to a new level. It is to this context that we bring about a discussion on Transmodernity, an umbrella term that connotes an emerging socio-cultural, political, economic, and philosophical shift. Emphasizing significance in the academia, Transmodernity relays a framework of perspectives and impacts, calling for a stronger awareness on the interdependence of various disciplines that must ultimately contribute to a sustainable, harmonious step of evolution. It invites views on the new vision of the world, and so are we: As part of the ‘Lumina’ literary fest 2024, we are inviting submissions for papers related to the intersection of Transmodernity with narrative discourses in and around literature.
We will explore this further through areas which include, but not limited to:

Important Dates
- Abstract Submission (250 words): 19th July 2024
- Acceptance Notification: 21 July 2024
- Full Paper Submission (2000-2500 words): 23rd July 2024
Guidelines
- Presenters will be judged based on clarity of ideas and coherence in presentation.
- Presenters will be given 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
- Original works are to be presented and submitted, note that plagiarism of any form is unacceptable.
- Final Papers, as per MLA 9th Edition, must be submitted via email or at the registration desk latest by 10AM on 23rd July 2024
