AICTE announces the Global Developer Corps (GDC) AI Workforce Programme for students to join and gain cutting-edge software engineering skills while contributing to UN-recognised Digital Public Goods.
About the Programme
The Global Developer Corps (GDC) AI Workforce is a growing team of students working with industry experts to develop and build digital public goods, driving nation-building missions.
- No Fee: To support the mission, scholarships are offered by industry partners which allow us to offer the course for free.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) in an Indian higher education institute
- Age range : 18-25
- August 6, 2024: Application deadline for 1st cohort.
- August 13, 2024: Publishing screening test results and list of selected candidates.
- August 14, 2024: Onboarding of selected students for training.

Selection Process
Applicants submit their application and eligible candidates are given access to a screening test. Successful candidates from the test may be invited for an interview. The final selection is based on the combined results of the test and interview.
Screening Test: Post successful submission of application, candidates undergo a comprehensive screening test to evaluate their coding skills and theoretical knowledge.
Training and Internship
- Training: Selected students will be onboarded for a 14-week training, adhering to the Code of Conduct (CoC).
- Internship Eligibility: Students who complete training become eligible for a 6-month internship. The selection for the internship is based on the policies of our internship partners.
