- College, post-graduate or high school students aspiring to gain new skills are welcome to apply
- Professionals and retirees looking to volunteer their time for a time critical cause are also encouraged to apply
- Positions are available in a number of programs, including Digital Archiving, Community Relations, Motion and still Graphics Editing, and much more
- A certificate of completion is granted to all interns and apprentices upon successful graduation from the program.
Spring-Summer 2025- Internships and Apprenticeships Application Form Learn while giving back as an intern. Internships and apprenticeships at The 1947 Partition Archive are an opportunity for you to learn new skills from professionals in the field, while giving back as a volunteer practitioner and applying your newly learned skills to help expand The 1947 Partition Archive’s impact. This is a popular and competitive program. It requires serious commitment over a period of the internship. Please see the terms, important dates and descriptions below.
Terms and Conditions
- Apprenticeship (1 year) – 10 hrs/week. 480 hours. Go from novice to practitioner.
- Internship-1 (6 months) – 10 hrs/week. 240 hours. Learn a new skill and practice it while building the archive.
- Internship-2 (1 year) – 5 hrs/week. 240 hours. An ultra part time internship
- Internship-3 (Summer Intensive 2 months) – 30 hrs/week. 240 hours. Same as 6 months, but full time instead of part time.
