- Duration: Inviting short films and documentaries (2017–2023, max. 40 mins).
- The best short film and documentary will be awarded with cash prizes along with certificate
- Best three films from each category will be screened during the KIFF 2K24 – ‘SHE’ and will be awarded with certificates
- E-certificate for all participants

The 7th edition on ‘KIFF 2024 – SHE’ focuses on films celebrating female empowerment, with inspiring narratives of women’s resilience. This two-day festival will feature film screenings, masterclasses, and discussions led by industry experts. The festival will screen 10 women-oriented films in multiple languages.
The event will be inaugurated by Vincy Aloshious, winner of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Female Actor, and Vazhoor Soman, MLA, Peermade.
Short Film & Documentary Competitions Guidelines
- Entries are restricted to films made between 2017 – 2024.
- Upload the short film (high quality) in google drive / YouTube and add the link in the form.
- Registration Fee: ₹ 500 per entry (Non Refundable)
- The entry will be rejected if the participant fail to pay the registration fee.
- Each person can submit any number of films, but separate registration is needed for each film.
- A participation e-certificate will be provided to every participant.
- The length of the film should be less than 40 minutes.
- Last date of online registration: Nov 12, 2024.
- The judgement will be fully under the discretion of the jury.
