The RIS-IFPRI Capacity Building Programme on “BIMSTEC Regional Agricultural Trade Analysis” will be held at Puducherry from 17-18 February 2023. Applications are invited for the training programme from candidates pursuing M.Phil./Ph.D., policy analysts and researchers in the areas of agricultural economics and policy.
The two-day capacity-building programme would generate awareness among participants about global agricultural issues. It would focus on contemporary agricultural trade challenges in the context of bilateral, regional, and multilateral trade relations. The programme also aims to impart hands-on training on the application of various trade and tariff indicators, using the agricultural trade database.
RIS would cover the return travel by shortest route and boarding facilities for the selected participants attending the programme at Puducherry. Participants must carry their laptops with them for the training sessions.
