Intended Participants: Faculty members of recognized universities and colleges all over India, Research scholars, and PG Students.

Overview of the FDP:

The Department of Languages, SOE, Presidency University, has been organising a series of academic and research activities on recent trends in ‘Gender Spaces’. As part of this initiative, the department of Languages organizes a Five-day international level FDP on the theme ‘Gendered Contours of Feminism’ on a virtual platform. The purpose of this FDP is to enable the faculty members and research scholars from Humanities to get a broader perspective on feminist writings and its influences. Many Universities and Colleges around the globe emphasise the need for understanding feminism. This FDP will serve the purpose for a good learning about feministic writings and its impact on society. The sessions planned will highlight the relevance of feminist writers and their contribution to the world of literature.
