National Nutrition week is celebrated every year from 1 to 7 September and the purpose is to spread awareness about good nutrition, and health. National Nutrition Week is celebrated with an objective to aware the peoples about the importance of nutrition for their better health which has an impact on development, productivity, economic growth and ultimately national development. National Nutrition Week is an annual nutrition event organized by Food and Nutrition Board under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The nutrition week highlights the importance and function of the right nutrition for the human body. The September month is dedicated for celebration of ‘Poshan Maah’ or nutrition month.
