ICSSR invites applications for Senior Fellowships 2024 from Indian researchers with a track record of having produced quality research, and with a potential to contribute in the development of the nation by producing evidence-based solutions to current and future challenges in different fields.
About the Fellowship
OBJECTIVES
- To provide opportunities to outstanding social scientists to engage themselves in full-time research on important themes to further their career in research.
- To promote evidence-based research that leads to solving problems for all-round development of the nation.
Who can Apply?
Indian researchers in the age group of 45-70 years, who have done Ph.D. and have made significant contribution in the form of published research paper, or books etc. in the field of Social Sciences can apply for the Senior Fellowships 2024
The candidates shall submit an online application on the ICSSR website from 29.07.2024 onwards. The last date for online submission of application is 28-08-2024 and the last date for receipt of hard copy of application in ICSSR is 06-09-2024.

Applicants are required to read the guidelines carefully before submitting their online application forms. The research proposal should be submitted only in the format attached with the application form. No separate research proposal is to be attached. Applicants are also advised to apply well before the last date in order to avoid last moment rush. The applications can be filled either in English or in Hindi (Arial/Mangal Unicode font will be used in Devanagari script to fill application form in Hindi).
