The webinar series is part of the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) project and will take place from March 2023 to June 2023.
The series will address various issues related to migration policies, the citizenship of migrant people, the connection between international labor rights regimes and national instruments, the impact of Covid-19 on human rights, internal migration, voices from working people, civil society, migrants, and major areas of theory and praxis in migration and human rights, gender, human rights defenders, and issues related to migration developments.
As a person with experience and interest in migration and labor rights, you are invited to attend the lecture titled “Climate Change as a Drive of Forced Internal Migration” by Ms. Ragini Rajbhor, a Research Scholar in Law at the Central University of Karnataka. The session will be chaired by Dr. Silpa Satheesh, Assistant Professor, School of Social Sciences.
The lecture will take place on May 1st, 2023, at 5 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on Google Meet. The lecture is planned for one hour, including 40 minutes of talk, discussions, and a summary and conclusions by the chair.
