- 28-30 September Hands-on training in Bonn
Online training session
- Open for everybody – only registration needed
- 22 – 23 September in Webex space
We welcome everyone for the ONLINE training session on 22-23 September, where NGS-experts and industry representatives will share their knowledge in:
- Current sequencing technologies and their main applications
- Tips for the right choice on NGS technology and experimental design
- Use-cases for data analysis of various workflows – from raw data to results

This time we also offer a unique chance to apply for ONSITE hands-on training with the focus on “NGS for Microbiome Analysis” on 28 30 September at the WGGC-Bonn NGS Core Facility. Training includes:
- DNA extraction from stool samples
- Library prep and QC
- Short read sequencing
- Downstream analysis for 16S rRNA metagenomics data
Hands-on Training “Microbiome”
- Limited to 8 participants – application required
- 28 – 30 September in Bonn
You will be able to analyze stool or purified DNA samples of your own project that you bring to the training. Number of participants for the wet-lab training is limited – try your chance and apply through the registration form (link above)!
The hands-on training is free of charge, accommodation as well as lunch and coffee breaks will be provided by the NGS-CN. Selected participants will have to organize and pay their travel to Bonn. National COVID-19 restrictions apply, please keep an eye on the latest updates from the German government.
ONSITE participants will enjoy a full training program including Microbiome analysis, provided accommodation in Bonn, coffee breaks and lunches and social events with plenty of networking opportunities. Participants will need to organize and pay their travel to/from Bonn.
