PG Dept. of Chemistry, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar is celebrating World Rose Day on September 22, 2024 in remembrance of Canada’s Melinda Rose. She was a 12-year-old cancer patient who was detected with Askin’s tumour, a rare type of blood cancer. World Rose Day is observed as a day of hope for the patients and the families who battle against the life-threatening disease all alone. Thus, World Rose Day is celebrated every year to bring joy and hope to their lives and pay tribute to those who lost their lives to the disease and their families.

Competition Guidelines
- Online/Offline Competitions:
- Card Making Competition (Size should not be more than A4)
- Short Video Message on Cancer Awareness (1 minute)
- Video should be made regarding awareness, sympathy to cancer patients. You can visit nearby hospital (optional) and can make video by giving roses or cards with beautiful message of motivation to fight cancer
- Last Date of submission: 18th September 2024 Cards can be submitted online/offline.
