About the Recruitment
Applications are invited from qualified individuals to be a part of an exciting research project focused on the empowerment of women in the governance and leadership of Meghalaya for the positions of Research Assistant & Field Investigators in the Department of Political Science at University of Science and Technology Meghalaya.
The positions are available for the research project entitled “Women Leadership and Gender Mainstreaming in Governance of Meghalaya: A Comparative Study between East Khasi Hills and West Garo Hills” under Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
Research Assistant (One Post)
- Qualification: Postgraduate in any social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks, and Ph.D. Preference will be given to candidate from Political Science.
- Salary: Rs. 37,000/- p.m.
Field Investigator (Two Post)
- Qualification: Postgraduate in any social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates from East Khasi Hills and West Garo Hills from the Political Science background. NET/SLET preferable.
- Salary: Rs. 20,000/- p.m.
- Duration: The appointment will be purely temporary for a period of 12 months.
