Eligibility:
Open to students pursuing their first year of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme from government and government-funded colleges only. Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% in their Higher Secondary Education. Successful applicants must maintain a 60% score in every semester/year to continue availing of the benefits during their 4-year course.The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not be more than INR 8,00,000.

The Free Coaching for DNT Students under SEED Scheme is an initiative of the Development and Welfare Board for the De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. It aims to provide good-quality coaching to students belonging to De-notified Tribes (DNT), Nomadic Tribes (NT), and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (SNT), empowering them to succeed in competitive examinations and secure suitable employment in the public or private sector.
Under this program, students from the above-mentioned categories who are currently in Class 12th grade or those who have passed Class 12th can receive coaching fees of up to ₹ 1,20,000 and additional benefits for preparing for examinations such as JEE, NEET, CLAT, NDA, Non-Commissioned Military Ranks, CA-CPT, Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Banking, Insurance, PSU, State and Central Police (Non-Gazetted Ranks, including BSF and Home Guard) exams, etc.
This scheme has been formulated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment under the Scheme for Economic Empowerment of DNTs (SEED) to promote the development and welfare of DNT, NT, and SNT communities.

The constitution of the Development and Welfare Board for the De-notified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNC) by the Government is among one of the most significant steps taken in recent years to facilitate socio-economic empowerment of DNTs.
