About the Training

The Training Programme will be conducted in collaboration with Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), a professional body under the aegis of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) which ensures focused action on issues related to IPR. CIPAM assists in simplifying and streamlining of IP processes, apart from undertaking steps for furthering IPR awareness, commercialization and enforcement.
Objectives of the Training Programme
- To establish a basic level of IP awareness amongst the participants, such that the chances to obtain well protected innovation (Patents).
- To cover various aspects of IPR like Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, etc.
- To create awareness about the scope of IPR in Academic Researches.
- Effective utilization of IPR tools to assists them in technology up-gradation and enhancing competitiveness.
- To understand the finer nuances involved in writing a research paper to publish in a high-quality refereed journal.
