About the presentation

Generative AI (GenAI) has been in existence for enterprises and consumers for almost two years now. It started with the launch of ChatGPT followed by Foundational Models from other hyper-scalers and product companies like Google, AWS, Meta, Anthropic, Mistral, and many others joining the bandwagon.
Many organizations had the curiosity to experiment with GenAI on its capability, benefits, and in general what GenAI means to the organization. Of course, we all know that GenAI can create an impact on business growth, enhance customer experience, and gain productivity. Given that it is a novel technology and limitations owing to hallucination, data security, regulatory governance, etc, the recommended approach had always been to explore GenAI with a PoC (Proof of Concept), acclimatize with a smaller group and then proceed with production deployment for a larger audience.

However, many of the PoCs continued to remain as PoC with only a few organizations managing to deploy the solution to production due to reasons such as: Unclear financial benefits; fitment issues within the overall technology landscape of the enterprise; Insufficient knowledge of users on GenAI capability; Inadequate data quality and insufficiency; Regulatory and legal challenges; and Security concerns. While the above linger amongst CXOs, the innovations around GenAI continue to grow exponentially. Product companies continue to launch or upgrade LLMs with new capabilities. Many companies are building their SLMs; like Gemma, Phi-3, etc. So, how organizations should go about embracing innovations to realize the benefits? What is the AI strategy the companies have to lay out to scale the GenAI solutions
from PoC to Production?

In this session, the speaker will share these perspective based on his industry experiences and dialogues with customers globally for the successful adoption of GenAI.
