ata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), School of Health Systems Studies, Mumbai, a premier research and teaching university in Social Sciences, intends to engage following Non-Institutional project-based human resource positions purely on a temporary contract basis for its ICMR-funded research project titled “A Multi-site study on feasibility, acceptability, and validity of different rapid methods for estimation of potentially missed events to measure COVID-19 associated mortality including mortalities associated with few selected co-morbidities in India”. For this project, TISS invites applications for the temporary post mentioned herewith. The place of posting will be Mumbai. Required qualifications and other details are given below:

- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Social Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.
- Desired Qualification: Master’s Degree in Sociology/ Anthropology/Epidemiology/ Social Work/ Medical Social Work/ Psychology.

- Candidates employed in Govt. Service /Semi Govt./ Autonomous Bodies of State/ Central Govt. should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of submission of the Application Form, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for walk-in-interview/ personal discussions.
- All posts are Contractual and likely to continue till the completion of the Project.
- The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment or re-advertise the posts at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
