Career Development Services is initiating a RISE-UP 2024: Research Internship in Science and Engineering: an Undergraduate Program. This program nurtures and promotes an undergraduate research culture at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu. It is designed to allow students to work closely with the IIT Jammu faculty members and gain valuable research experience.
About the Programme
- Open to pre-final year graduate/undergraduate non-IIT Jammu students
- The internship period is going to be minimum of six weeks starting from the 20th May, 2024 till the end of July
- The deadline of the online application submission is 15th April, 2024, 11:59 pm
- The results for the RISE-UP will be announced on or before 30th of April, 2024
- The internship is fully offline
- The total intake of interns under RISEUP 2024 is 100 interns
- The students will receive weekly stipend of Rs. 2500 during the course of internship
- The stipend for faculty funded projects, however, may vary
- Hostel accommodation will be provided to all the summer interns, and students are required to pay the applicable hostel and mess charges
