Job Profile:
- Developing the company’s strategy for using technological resources and Implementing the mission, vision and objectives of iHub-Drishti.
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
- Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely. Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure.
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage and help departments use technology profitably.
- Should be able to work with the Board of Directors of the company and the Hub Governing Body (HGB), Project Director, and CEO.
- Should be able to work with the staff to define mission, staff management, financial management, legal issues management, accountability, and effectiveness.
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes and monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology. Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.
- Leading the strategy development and implementation of the organization’s objectives and mandated activities in coordination with the Board of Governors, Hub Governing Board, Project Director, and the key stakeholders in the Hub.
- Working effectively with research scholars, faculty members and Hub collaborators in developing a vibrant research culture.
- Building effective and accountable practices for staff management, financial management, and compliance with various legal issues.
- Overseeing and enriching an enabling the ecosystem to facilitate new research ideas, research translation to business creation
- Demonstrating leadership in progressing the value chain from technology development to business marketplace for societal outreach.
- Creating, Promoting and boosting the start-up and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- Develop industry connections / network as dynamic stakeholders in the Hub.
- Generating/Sourcing funds from external agencies – both government and industry, in augmenting financial resources for the Hub in the right earnest order to be self sufficient as soon as possible.
- Increasing the visibility and outreach of the iHub-Drishti with an enriched network of stakeholders
Essential Qualification and Knowledge with Expertise
- Post-Graduate Degree in Science / Engineering.
- At least 10 years of industry experience with proven experience in leadership roles.
- Proven record of experience in handling multidisciplinary people and organizations
- Prior experience in translational work of research into products in industry, association, and similar organizations.
- Exceptional leadership capability with project management and organization skills
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Strategic thinking and Problem-solving aptitude. Excellent communication skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, collaborate, and strengthen the network of stakeholders for effective organizational and business development.
- Knowledge of harnessing CSR funds – sourcing and management
Compensation
● As per discretion of the Board with annual performance linked incentives in addition.
● Tenure: Initially 1 years (reviewable and renewable based on performance)
● Age: Preferably less than 50 Years
● Location: Jodhpur (may not be a constraint)
