Applications are invited from Indian nationals to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Research Project funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), New Delhi, Govt. of India under Chips to startup (C2S) scheme.
Project Title: “FPGA/Adaptive-SoC Implementation of Deep Learning framework for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system”.
Duration: Five (05) Years or till the Completion of the Project, whichever is earlier.
Number of Position: One (01)
Essential Educational Qualification: ME/M.Tech. in VLSI Systems / Microelectronics and VLSI Design / Electronics and Communication Engineering with at least 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a scale of 10).
Desirables: (1) Candidate should have GATE/NET qualification.
(2) Candidate should have experience in Verilog coding with system implementation of logic circuits on FPGA Boards.
Note: The Junior Research Fellow will have option to register for Ph.D. program in the institute; the candidate must meet the essential qualifications and qualify written examination & interview of Ph.D. admission of institute.
Consolidated Salary: Rs.37.000/ month + 8% HRA

Terms and Conditions:
- The duration of post will be initially for (six month or one year) and which may be extended upto the duration of project based on the satisfactory performance. The fellowship may be terminated if performance of candidate is not satisfactory.
- The post created under the project is purely on temporary basis and neither MeitY nor the Institute would have liability whatsoever for sustaining temporary staff recruited under the above mentioned project, after its completion/termination.
- The appointment is purely temporary on contractual basis which will be renewed every (six month or one year) subject to satisfactory performance.
- Original documents of mark sheets/ degree/certificates/age proof and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the Interview.
- PI reserves the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the post or cancel the advertisement in whole or partly without assigning any reason.
- The decision of the Principle Investigator (PI) in this regard will be final.
One set of photocopies of all certificates and one passport size self-attested photo
are to be produced with the application at the time of Interview. Original certificates shall be shown at the time of Interview for verification.
