About the Recruitment
Seeking a dynamic Project Assistant to empower women in rural areas through the WeChimni initiative. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking and demonstrate a proactive approach to community development. Must have two wheeler.
Locations:
- Satara (Manjarwadi, Khatav) – 1 position
- Jalana (Ghansawangi) – 1 position
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders for effective project implementation.
- Conduct outreach activities to mobilize women candidates from the community.
- Collaborate with managers to assess program needs and coordinate workshops.
- Efficiently manage workshop and session coordination.
- Exhibit flexibility to undertake diverse tasks as needed.
- Provide mentorship and support to women beneficiaries.
- Assist in documentation and maintaining MIS for project records.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in women’s empowerment
- Strong understanding of gender issues and empowerment strategies in rural contexts
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in Marathi (both written and spoken)
