Project Coordinator is one of the exciting and challenging roles in Shaishav. S/He are primarily responsible for preparing content and training facilitators by taking into consideration the dynamics of the program. Apart S/He will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing of the program implementation.
Qualifications
- Candidate should be a graduate of any field with 3 to 5 years experience of working with children.
- Prior experience as a Teacher Trainer or Content developer will be preferred.
- Have good working knowledge of English, Hindi and Gujarati (preferred).
- Have good computer knowledge of using MS Office, Google suites etc.
Responsibilities
1) Content development and Activity designing for Balsena and the Leadership Academy programs.
2) Preparing Annual and Monthly plans of Balsena and the Leadership Academy programs.
3) Provide hand holding support to program facilitators by training , observing the sessions with the children and giving constructive feedback on the same.
4) Facilitate sessions during the major training and events.
5) Monitoring the program implementation on the field.
6) Create templates for data collection based on the reporting structure.
7) Prepare Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual donor reports.
8) Be an active participant in all the team meetings.
9) Create and execute evaluation tools to capture the impact of the program.
10) Promoting Shaishav’s activities in relevant social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. )

Balsena
Balsena is Shaishav facilitated Children’s Collective where children learn leadership and citizenship skills through a participatory process. Here children are the active participants who will be aware and empowered on the 4 children’s rights Right to Survival, Protection, Development and Participation so that they can take charge of their lives. Apart from real life projects on children’s rights, children will be given training on adolescent education, savings bank, life skills, leadership skills, and Wenlido (Personal safety training to girls). This program has a unique approach of being “Preventive, Participatory and Transformational”. We are also planning to launch A Leadership Academy, an open , inclusive and child friendly space where life skills training will be provided to children.
