About the Award
The Berchmans Award St Berchmans College is committed towards recognizing and fostering excellence in the teaching community. To facilitate this noble ideal, the prestigious Berchmans Award was instituted by the Alumni Association of St Brechmans College, Kuwait Chapter in the year 1998. The award includes a cash prize of Rs. 25,001/-, citation and memento.
Eligibility
Government or Aided Arts and Science college teachers in Kerala with substantial academic, research contributions and a minimum of fourteen years of service are eligible.
Selection Criteria
The applicants are required to complete the proforma with the supporting documents authenticate their claims. The completed application will be vetted by a screening committee and five nominees will be short to listed.Contenders will be comprehensively evaluated on the basis of Teaching Excellence, Academic Achievements, Campus and Community Involvement. A confidential report of the applicants will be collected from their respective Heads of the Institutions.
- An eminent jury will scrutinise and declare the “Berchmans Awardee” for the year 2022-23.
- Applications duly filled in must reach the college on or before 14″ December 2022.
