About Campaign Incubator
Campaign Incubator (CI) was first launched in 2019 with the goal of supporting campaigners to accelerate change. The program helps to seek answers to questions such as ‘How do we create a change in our lives?’, ‘How do I begin to imagine a campaign?’, ‘How do I inspire and encourage my community to join me in this journey?’, ‘Do my people and I have resources I have not explored yet?’, ‘How can I bring more resources, build and sustain meaningful and resourceful relationships that will help me achieve my goal?’
Campaign Incubator 2024 aims to strengthen the community of young, passionate campaigners to build youth feminist leadership that can influence the landscape of organizing and changemaking in the country. The program is inviting young changemakers/campaigners from diverse identities and marginalised communities to an online, immersive learning and practice space to run people-powered campaigns successfully
- We will welcome you into a diverse cohort of 40 youth campaigners and changemakers.
- We will build and amplify your leadership capacity as an organizer through the Community Organizing framework.
- We will work with you to co-create a campaign idea and plan to be launched and implemented in 2024 with your people.
- We will provide campaign coaching support to you to make the campaign go visible and public towards its goal.
- We will offer you on-going leadership skills, mentoring, relationships and network support to make your campaign successful and lead to victory.
- As a cohort member, you will get the opportunity to connect with other incubatees to share stories, challenges, lessons, and use this space to peer-learn and develop new connections.
- We will offer resource support to you to run your campaign
Who Can Apply
- You are between the ages of 20-35 years and work with young people on issues that affect the vulnerable communities
- Priority will be given to youth from marginalized communities (women, LGBTQIA+, Dalit, Bahujan, Adivasi, Muslim, People living with disability, Refugee communities)
- You are an organizer, campaigner, part of a youth collective, development professional or collective/group working on rapid response campaigns.
- You have a campaign idea with a clear goal (you do not need to have demonstrated experience in campaigning).
- You are someone that aspires for socio-political and systemic change through your work.
- You have access to your people/communities, understand their issues and have worked with them in the past.
- You are willing to commit to a 6 month long program.
- We encourage 2 people to apply together as a team for a particular campaign.
Financial Support
The program will offer a stipend of Rs 35,000 in total to each incubatee, given midway and at the end of the program (Please note, if there are 2 people joining from your organization/collective, the amount will still be the same, since you will be working as a team for the same campaign). The stipend is offered to support your campaign work with your community.

- Applications will get shortlisted on a rolling basis. Since we have limited spots, please do not wait until the deadline to submit your application.
- Once you have applied and your application is shortlisted, we may contact you for more information and assessment via email and phone.
- If you are selected for this program, you will receive a final selection email from us latest by 21st May. The email will have more information on the schedule and details of the whole program.
