CAT 2026 Admissions at IIM

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026, a computer-based entrance examination for admission to various management programmes offered by participating IIMs.

Offered Courses:

• Post Graduate Programmes in Management (PGP/MBA)
• Fellow/Doctorate Programmes (FPM/Ph.D.) and Executive PhD Programme
• Other management courses

Eligibility:

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university or educational institution. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories require a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor's Degree or those who have completed their degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Candidates with professional degrees such as CA, CS, ICWA (CMA) or FIAI may also apply, subject to the prescribed percentage requirements.

• Mode: Online.
• Application Fee: Rs.1,350 for SC, ST, and PwBD categories; Rs.2,700 for others.
• Registration Starts from: 03.08.2026
• Last Date for online application: 15.09.2026
• Admit Card Download: From 04.11.2026 to 29.11.2026
• CAT 2026 Exam Date: 29.11.2026
• Results: January 2027

Exam Centers: The exam will be conducted in 170 cities across the country. Candidates can select 5 cities of their choice.
