In line with the current trends in manufacturing industries in adaptation and implementation of
Industry 4.0, this workshop provides an excellent avenue for the community to keep abreast with the current technological advancements. Recent advancements this new round of revolution in science and technology has led the traditional manufacturing industry in gradual upgradation in the direction of advanced material development and intelligent manufacturing. Smart materials, composites, industrial internet of things, artificial intelligence, 3D printing and product configuration tools are moving towards a new level of interconnected and intelligent
manufacturing system which incorporates the latest advances in materials and manufacturing technology. So, the workshop will introduce the recent trends in development of intelligent materials and advanced manufacturing technologies along with modelling and simulation
aspects, applied IoT and their applications in the modern industrial scenarios.

Objective of Workshop

The objective of the workshop is to identify the key industry drivers for innovation in advanced materials and manufacturing technology in the scope of Industry 4.0. It will explore processing
and applications of different advanced materials including smart materials and composites, and will also shed light on recent trends in the domains of manufacturing technologies, simulation, and applied IoT. Further, it will help the participants in understanding the ever- evolving concepts of manufacturability. Moreover, this workshop will explore the future scopes of advanced materials, advanced manufacturing technologies, issues, challenges and research opportunities to meet the industry needs.
