s part of the Republic Day Celebrations in 2024, the Ministry of Defence, in coordination with MyGov, is conducting an online quiz competition on the topic ‘Bharat – The Mother of Democracy (भारत – लोकतंत्र की मातृका)’ from 5th Jan 2024 to 20th Jan 2024. The purpose is to instill a sense of patriotism among the youth and the masses.
Gratifications:
1) The Top 10 performers will be rewarded with a Cash Prize, as mentioned below:
- 1st Prize: Rs 25,000/-
- 2nd Prize: Rs. 15,000/-
- 3rd Prize: Rs. 10.000 /-
- Consolation prizes (Seven): Rs 5,000/- each
2) All the participants will get an E-certificate of Participation.

Terms and Conditions
1. Quiz is open for the Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above. / 14 वर्ष और उससे अधिक आयु के भारतीय नागरिकों के लिए क्विज़ खुला है।
2. Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी ‘प्ले क्विज़’ पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज़ शुरू हो जाएगा।
3. Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn. / एक बार सबमिट की गई प्रविष्टियां वापस नहीं ली जा सकतीं।
4. Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required by the entry form. By submitting their details and participating in the quiz, participants give consent to MyGov and Ministry of Defence to use this information as required to facilitate the conduct of the quiz competition which may include confirmation of participant details. / प्रतिभागियों को प्रवेश पत्र के अनुसार अपना नाम, ईमेल पता, टेलीफोन नंबर और अतिरिक्त विवरण प्रदान करना आवश्यक होगा। अपना विवरण प्रस्तुत करके और क्विज़ में भाग लेकर, प्रतिभागी माईगव और रक्षा मंत्रालय को क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता के संचालन को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए आवश्यकतानुसार इस जानकारी का उपयोग करने के लिए सहमति देते हैं, जिसमें प्रतिभागी विवरणों की पुष्टि शामिल हो सकती है।
5. Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted. / एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा प्राप्त एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियाँ स्वीकार नहीं की जाएंगी।
6. The criteria for selection of successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”, subject to the stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes. / सफल विजेताओं के चयन का मानदंड “कम से कम समय में अधिकतम सही उत्तर” होगा, जो 20 प्रश्नों के प्रयास और 05 मिनट की शर्त के अधीन होगा।
7. Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address and bank details) will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the quiz. Non-furnishing of the above Information/documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void. / क्विज के परिणाम की घोषणा के बाद विजेताओं को वास्तविक दस्तावेज (पहचान, आयु, पता और बैंक विवरण का प्रमाण) जमा करना होगा। उचित स्तर पर उपरोक्त जानकारी/दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत न करने पर चयन निरस्त हो जाएगा।
8. The same mobile number and same email ID cannot be used more than once for participation in the quiz. / क्विज़ में भाग लेने के लिए एक ही मोबाइल नंबर और एक ही ईमेल आईडी का एक से अधिक बार उपयोग नहीं किया जा सकता है।
9. Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc., during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard. / क्विज में भाग लेने के दौरान किसी भी अनुचित/नकली साधन/कदाचार के उपयोग की खोज/पता लगाना/देखना, जिसमें प्रतिरूपण, दोहरी भागीदारी आदि शामिल है, लेकिन इन्हीं तक सीमित नहीं है, के परिणामस्वरूप भागीदारी को अमान्य घोषित कर दिया जाएगा और इसलिए, अस्वीकार कर दिया जाएगा। क्विज प्रतियोगिता के आयोजक या उनकी ओर से कार्य करने वाली कोई भी एजेंसी इस संबंध में अधिकार सुरक्षित रखती है।
10. Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members. / क्विज़ के आयोजन से प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जुड़े कर्मचारी क्विज़ में भाग लेने के पात्र नहीं हैं। यह अपात्रता उनके निकटतम परिवार के सदस्यों पर भी लागू होती है।
11. The Ministry of Defence will disburse the winning amount/ rewards to the selected winner(s) after publishing the Winner Announcement Blog on blog.mygov.in / रक्षा मंत्रालय blog.mygov.in पर विजेता घोषणा ब्लॉग प्रकाशित करने के बाद चयनित विजेताओं को विजेता राशि/पुरस्कार वितरित करेगा।
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Ministry of Defence and MyGov reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजक किसी भी समय प्रतियोगिता के नियमों और शर्तों में संशोधन करने या प्रतियोगिता को रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं।
13. The Ministry of Defence and MyGov will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late, incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s responsibility. / आयोजकों की जिम्मेदारी से परे खोई हुई, देर से, अपूर्ण या कंप्यूटर त्रुटि या किसी अन्य त्रुटि के कारण प्रेषित प्रविष्टियों के लिए आयोजकों की कोई ज़िम्मेदारी नहीं होगी।
14. The participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates. / प्रतिभागियों को क्विज प्रतियोगिता के सभी नियमों और शर्तों का पालन करना होगा, जिसमें कोई भी संशोधन या आगे के अपडेट शामिल हैं।
15. The decision of the Ministry of Defence and MyGov on the Quiz shall be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज पर आयोजकों का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इसके संबंध में कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा |
16. By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the above‑mentioned terms and conditions. / क्विज में प्रवेश करके, प्रतिभागी उपरोक्त नियमों और शर्तों से बाध्य होने के लिए स्वीकार करता है और सहमति जताता है।
17. The following terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system. / निम्नलिखित नियम और शर्तें अब से भारतीय कानूनों और भारतीय न्याय प्रणाली के निर्णयों द्वारा शासित होंगी।
