Applications are invited for the temporary positions of Research Officer and Research Assistant purely on contract basis for a research study in the field of Financing Approaches for Climate Action.
About the Recruitment
Eligibility Criteria
- Research Officer (one position)
Essential Qualification: The applicant should have a Postgraduate Degree in any discipline with three years of research experience (preference will be given to a candidate with a background in Economics/ Climate Sciences or Policies/ Disaster Management/Geography and allied fields).
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to a candidate- with a good knowledge of the subject, and significant experience and expertise of research (MPhil/ PhD/Experience in independent research work or in projects) in the broad area of the research project- having familiarity with GIS/ Statistical or Econometric Packages/ Quantitative Analysis.
Emoluments: Rs. 60,000/-consolidated per month
Tenure of the post: The appointment will be for six months. It may get extended depending on project requirements.
- Research Assistant (one position)
Essential Qualification: The applicant should have a Postgraduate Degree in any discipline (preference will be given to a candidate with a background in Economics/ Climate Sciences or Policies/ Disaster Management/ Geography and allied fields).
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to a candidate – with knowledge of GIS/ Statistical or Econometric Packages/ Quantitative Analysis- having knowledge of Marathi
Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- consolidated per month
Tenure of the post: The appointment will be for six months. It may get extended depending on project requirements.

The Project Leader reserves the right to offer a different designation, at a higher or lower emolument, to candidates who are not suitable for the advertised positions but can contribute to the project in other available posts.
