About the Recruitment
Applications are invited for the position of two Research Assistants for the Short-term Empirical Research Project (2023-24) sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) purely on a contractual basis. The nature of the project is an empirical analysis of the Swachh Bharat Mission in PVTGs of the Western Ghats
- Role: Research Assistants
- Duration: 5-6 Months (starting immediately)
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. /M.Phil./ Postgraduate in Anthropology/ allied social science disciplines with minimum 55%)
Desirable Qualifications: knowledge of Malayalam/Kannada/Tamil, exposure to tribal regions
Honorarium: INR 32000/- Per Month
Responsibilities:
- Lead research efforts, conduct field surveys, interviews, and employ other ethnographic methods to data collection from the designated districts in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Project development with report writing and organizing workshop
