About the Fellowship
- No. of fellowships: 105 (Indicative)
- Eligibility: Minimum of 60% aggregate in B.Sc. and 55% aggregate in M.Sc. from a recognized University. Valid UGC-CSIR-NET Fellowship (SLET/ Lectureship is not eligi- ble)/ JEST score/ ICMR-JRF Test, ICAR-JRF Test/ DBT-JRB BET/ GATE Score.
- Disciplines: Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences.
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years.
- Fellowship: Per month Rs.31,000 – Rs.35000.
- Application fee: Rs.500.
- Last date for receipt of applications: 31/08/2023.
Selection Process:
Based on academic performance and score obtained in the national qualifying exams, interview.
- Applications will be scrutinized and candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their academic performance and score obtained in the national qualifying exams. The recommendation/decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
- A first screening will be made based on previous academic records of the applicants.
- A further shortlisting of candidates will be made based on the performance in nation-wide screening test (Qualifying Examination).
