About the Recruitment

Members of the panel will have the opportunity to contribute their knowledge, skills, and creativity to the design and implementation of a wide range of activities and programs for children of all ages and backgrounds.
The panel will comprise Experts from various fields, including but not limited to:
- Storytellers and performers (in all Indian languages besides English & Hindi)
- Artists/Illustrators specializing in children’s literature.
- Educators specializing in children’s literature.
- Creative writing professionals for children.
- Art & Craft professionals
- Calligraphers and handwriting experts.
- Theatre artists & facilitators.
- Puppet artists
- Cartoonists/Caricature artists specializing in children’s literature.
- Professionals in Science-based activities for children

The National Panel of Resource Persons for Children’s Activities is a prestigious initiative by National Centre for Children’s Literature (a children wing of NBT- India) aimed to bringing together a diverse group of experts and professionals who are dedicated to promoting the well-being and development of children across our nation. Members of the panel will have the opportunity to contribute their knowledge, skills, and creativity to the design and implementation of a wide range of activities and programs for children of all ages and backgrounds.
Eligibility:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certificate/ training in their respective fields like education, child development, child psychology, fine arts, children’s literature, art & craft, storytelling, theatre, etc.
- Minimum 5 years experience of working with children, conducting innovative and creative programme for children.
- Good communication skills and the ability of engage effectively with children
Honorarium & Logistics support by NBT-India:
- Honorarium of Rs.5000/- paid for session/day.
- Provision for taking care of travel, accommodation and meals for resource persons attending events outside their hometown.
