Application Invited for Two-Day Youth Meet on Urban Caregiving and Protection: Histories and Contemporary Practices

The programme is being organised in collaboration with the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM), Vienna, and aims to bring together young activists–lawyers, journalists, academics, environmentalists, and peace activists – working on issues of urban justice, cities, urban refugees and migrants and issues of public interest such as peace, social justice, communal harmony, human rights, child protection, women’s rights and environment. The Youth Meet aims to encourage dialogue among activists from diverse disciplines who would share their knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable communities/individuals living in the cities and its peripheries to think through the future of humanity and urbanity and its collateral trajectory.

To facilitate the participation, CRG will reimburse upto 2AC train fare (roundway) for overnight journey to Bolpur and and provide 3 nights’ stay (twin sharing accommodation; check-in 28 March 2024 and Check-out 31 March 2024) and local hospitality at the venue of the programme.
