About the Scholarship
HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to help high perfoming students from underprivileged backgrounds to continue and complete their education. Open for students in Class 11-12, those pursuing undergraduate courses and competitive exam coaching.

HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2022-23 for Class 11 and 12 Students (General Category)
Eligibility
- Open for students who have passed Class 10 and who are studying in Class 11 or 12 in recognized schools/colleges across India.
- Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- Annual family income of the applicant should be below INR 6,00,000, from all sources.
- Special consideration will be given to –
- Girl students
- Students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.)
- Children of employees of HDFC & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Students from pan-India are eligible.
Benefits: INR 18,000
Note: Scholarship funds can be utilized only for academic expense purposes which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, stationery, online learning, and payment of internet/data pack bills.

Eligibility
- Open for students who have passed Class 12 and who are currently pursuing general graduation courses (any year) such as BCom, BSc, BA, etc. in recognized colleges or universities in India.
- Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- Annual family income of the applicants should be below INR 6,00,000, from all sources.
- Special consideration will be given to –
- Girl students
- Students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.)
- Children of employees of HDFC & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Students from pan-India are eligible.
Benefits: INR 30,000

- Applicants must have obtained at least 60% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- Annual family income of the applicants should be below INR 6,00,000, from all sources.
- Special consideration will be given to –
- Girl students
- Students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.)
- Children of employees of HDFC & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Students from pan-India are eligible.

HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2022-23 for Students with Disabilities
Eligibility
- Open for students with disabilities having disability level more than 40% and a valid disability certificate
- Applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- Open for students studying in grades 11, 12 or pursuing Graduation, Diploma/ITI or any certified vocational course in a recognized school or college in India.
- Annual family income of the applicants should be below INR 8,00,000, from all sources.
- Special consideration will be given to –
- Girl students
- Students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.)
- Children of employees of HDFC & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Students from pan-India are eligible.
Benefits:
Class 11 & 12, Diploma, ITI and Vocational Courses: INR 24,000 I Graduation (General Courses- BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, etc.): INR 40,000 I Graduation (Professional- BTech, MBBS, LLB, B Arch, Nursing): INR 100,000
Note: Financial aid can be utilized only for academic expense purposes which include an assistive learning device/software, tuition fees, exam fees, books, hostel fees, food, appliances, seminars, stationery, online learning, payment of internet/data pack bills, and travel. Financial assistance will also be provided to students who received admission offer and are struggling to pay for their counselling and seat acceptance fees.

Eligibility
- Open for students who are pursuing studies in/have completed Class 11 & 12 and aspire to study in NIRF top-ranked engineering, medical or law colleges in India.
- Applicants must be preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE, CLAT, and NIFT at a recognized coaching institution.
- Applicants must have obtained at least 80% marks in the previous class or board exams.
- Annual family income of the applicants should be below INR 6,00,000, from all sources.
- Special consideration will be given to –
- Girl students
- Students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.)
- Children of employees of HDFC & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
- Students from pan-India are eligible.
Benefits:
Up to INR 72,000
Note: Financial aid can be utilized only for academic expense purposes which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, hostel fees, food, etc. Financial assistance will also be provided to students who received admission offer and are struggling to pay for their counselling and seat acceptance fees.
