About the Organization
Jan Suraaj, A unique Grassroot initiative led by the people of Bihar and anchored by Prashant Kishor. JSYLP is a program which creates a progressive platform for enthusiastic young individuals at regional level who are interested to participate in active political movements and learn from it. The program is committed to the course of strengthening Indian Democracy by reaching out to the last person standing in the line. The program since its inception in August 2022 has seen more than 500 fellows be a part, gaining experience by working in various capacity across Bihar.
Additionally, they will have the exposure of collaborating with Prashant Kishor, who has embarked on Jan Suraaj Padyatra started on 2nd October, 2022 and has covered 10 Districts of Bihar till date and walked thousands of kilometres on foot, and engaging in discussions about grassroots social, economic, and political issues encountered during the fellowship.
