Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced mid National-Level Program Coordinator to lead our Vocational Training and Job Placement initiative across six states in India. This critical role will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of vulnerable youth and contributing to their
long-term success.

Job Role:

Specific Deliverables of the Job Role

  • Mobalisinging, identifying, selecting 370 youths for vocational training in Delhi, Patna, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore & Chennai
  • Ensuring the enrollment and completion of vocational training program for 370 youths
  • Ensuring the job placement of 370 youths who have trained under the program

Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Vocational Training and Job Placement initiative at the national level, ensuring the program’s alignment with the organization’s overall strategic goals and objectives.
  • Implement a comprehensive national strategy to achieve the program’s goals and objectives, including the identification of key performance indicators, targets, and action plans.
  • Oversee the implementation of the program in all six states, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations, providing regular feedback and support to city teams.

Empowerment and Guidance for City Teams:

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to city teams, empowering them to effectively implement the program in their respective regions.
  • Conduct regular follow up with city teams to assess their progress, identify challenges, and provide tailored support to address their needs.
  • Share best practices, innovative approaches, and lessons learned across city teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Addressing Challenges and Enhancements:

  • Proactively identify and address challenges that may hinder the program’s success, developing strategies to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the program’s effectiveness, exploring new approaches, partnerships, and resources.
  • Advocate for the program’s needs at the national level, providing insights and recommendations to ensure adequate resources and support.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the national program team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential, recognizing and appreciating their contributions.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that team members are empowered to take ownership and make decisions.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Establish robust monitoring and evaluation systems to track the progress and impact of the program, including the collection and analysis of data.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the program, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and impact, providing datadriven insights to inform decision-making.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the national program team, city teams, and coordinators to ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of the program.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, training providers, employers, and community organizations.
  • Represent the program at national and state-level meetings, conferences, and events.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on program progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on the program to stakeholders, including senior management, government officials, and donors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including manuals, guidelines, and reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Post Graduation (or Graduation with commensurate experience) in human resources, business administration, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in skill development and job placement.
  • Personal Attributes: Passion for working with vulnerable youth and a commitment to equity and social justice.
  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and online platforms.
