We are looking for someone passionate about promoting a strong culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among Wipro’s employees. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and managing employee volunteering Initiatives in Wipro’s locations across India.

Key responsibilities

Program development

  • Lead the development of the Employee Volunteering Program strategy. ensuring alignment with the company’s values and social responsibility objectives.
  • Research industry best practices and innovative trends to continually enhance the volunteering program’s effectiveness.

Volunteer engagement

  • Foster a culture of volunteerism within the organization. Plan and coordinate a variety of volunteering activities, ranging events to long-term partnerships with non-profit partners. from one-time Implement, manage and execute employee volunteering initiatives across the Wipro Locations.
  • Build and strengthen location chapter teams to create and execute volunteering activities.

Metrics and reporting

  • Create a monitoring dashboard to track volunteering activities across the locations.
  • Regularly analyze, and report on volunteering metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Establish the success and impact of the Employee Volunteering Program.
  • Manage the budget allocated for volunteering activities, ensure cost-effective use of resources, and process payments to partners\vendors on time.

Content development:

  • Develop content materials to educate employees about the value of volunteering and how they can contribute their time toward society.
  • Provide guidance to help employees identify volunteering opportunities that match their skills and interests.
  • Support in development of Volunteering Standard Operating Procedures (V- SOPs), monthly mailers, volunteering impact stories, and related documents

Desired Qualities

  • Passion for social responsibility and community engagement.
  • Enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire and motivate others to volunteer.
  • Excellent communication skills, event management skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders that include internal teams, volunteers, and NGO partners.
  • Readiness to travel 4-5 days in a month, across India.


  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in coordinating volunteer programs or in corporate social responsibility, and/or non-profit engagement.
  • Knowledge of CSR principles and practices, and corporate volunteering delivery experience.
  • Project management and organizational skills, including planning, execution and evaluation.
  • Skills in basic computer operations and social media – proficiency in MS Office. specifically MS Excel.


  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
