A Junior Research fellow and a project assistant are required in the Department of Physics, School of Sciences, Uttarakhand Open University, to work on a project entitled “Synthesis and Characterization of Carbon Quantum Dots for Enhancing the Efficiency of Photovoltaic Devices”, funded by Uttarakhand Council of Science and Technology (UCOST), Govt. of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. The posts are temporarily for the period of two years.

- Minimum Educational Qualification Required: JRF- Master’s degree in Physics/Material Sciences with research experience in the relevant field
- Project assistant: Master’s degree in Physics/Material Sciences with basic knowledge of computer and laboratory handling.
- Fellowship: JRF @12,000/month (Consolidated)
- Project assistant: @ Rs. 8,000/month (Consolidated)
