BIT Mesra is seeking application from bright and promising candidates with very distinguished academic credentials for the post of Assistant Professor (AL 10, 11, 12: 57,700 – 68900 – 79800) for its Mesra main and External campuses in the following disciplines:
- Centre for Quantitative Economics & Data Science (CQEDS) (1) Statistics, (ii) Data Science, (iii) Economics
- Department of Computer Science & Engineering
- Department of Humanities & Social Sciences: (i) English, (ii) Sociology (iii) Psychology
- Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Chemical Engineering
- Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology
Emoluments: As per UGC 7º pay of scale with allowances and other benefits (following BIT Norms)
Important points for consideration:
(1) Only shortlisted candidates after initial screening of all applications by a peer review committee will be called for Seminar Presentation & (ii) further shortlisted candidates from (i) will be called for final interview. Superannuated Faculty members with excellent track record may also apply for Visiting or Adjunct (on contract) appointments with attractive pay package.
