Call for Participation: National Level Short Film Festival CINERAMA-2023

About the Festival

  • When: 10th and 11th of March, 2023 at Mysuru campus, Karnataka
  • Festival is open for college students
  • Registration Fee Needed
  • Confirm your participation by 28th February, 2023
  • Rewards: Exciting Cash Prizes and Exclusive Workshops

Besides the competition, the Fest comprises workshops and interaction with eminent resource persons from the Cinema industry. The winners of the event will be acknowledged and awarded with cash prizes. Apart from the best three films, special prizes for Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editor and Best Performer (male & female) will be awarded

CINERAMA 2023 Objectives

  • To provide the budding filmmakers and students a platform to showcase their creative ideas to the world.
  • To provide an opportunity to interact with Industry experts and gain the necessary skill and exposure.
  • To provide a broader horizon in short film making which shall act as a catalyst for future feature film opportunities for the participant.

Rules For Participation

  • One team/Individual can submit any number of short films but they have to register separately for each film
  • Entries will be accepted only with the copy of Valid College ID Card
  • Maximum duration of a short film is 40 minutes.
  • Spot entries are not entertained.
  • Only the Short films made after January 1st 2022 are Eligible for Qualification for Cinerama – 2023.
  • Language of the short film can be either in English or any Indian languages with English Subtitles Mandatory.
  • Story should be original. Films with the copyrighted content, obscene scenes, vulgarity and dialogues will be disqualified.
  • Mobile Short Film Competition is not applicable for the students of Visual Communication Department, Amrita Mysuru.
  • Participants should report at the reception desk on the day of the event and should carry their ID card without fail.
  • The Nominees qualified for the final round will be intimated well in advance and must ensure to be present for the Short Film Festival physically at the Amrita Mysuru Campus.
  • The Organisation reserves the right to change any rules of the event if the situation demands. Judges decision is final and binding.
  • Management is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings and valuable.
  • Registration can be done only after the payment.
