About the Workshop
- When: April 21-24, 2023 Time: 11 to 4:00 PM
- MODE: HYBRID
- Interested candidates can fill up the registration form latest by 15th April 2023
The practitioners of computer science can benefit a lot by understanding how set theory is helping to develop powerful algorithms that are run on computers for effective solutions to mankind. Initially we delve into the foundations of set theory and then we look at computing, computability and decidability. The related areas of complexity theory and the problem of understanding P versus NP classes will also be taken up by the experts. We at the Prof. Kishore Marathe School of Theoretical Physics and Theoretical Computer Science are undertaking major research investigations that demands people from computer science and engineering to work with Mathematicians and Statistical Mechanists. The four days programme (Hybrid-mode) is aimed at identifying people from computer science who can be motivated to be a part of our research themes which include the above mentioned theoretical computing ideas and also possible applications in Al, Machine learning and Cloud computing to name a few.
