Millets are a collective group of small seeded annual grasses that are grown as grain crops, primarily on marginal land in dry areas of temperate, sub-tropical and tropical regions. The U.N. General Assembly adopted a resolution, sponsored by India and supported by more than 70 countries, declaring 2023 as the International Year of Millets. The resolution is intended to increase public awareness on the health benefits of millets and their suitability for cultivation under tough conditions marked by climate change.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is the nodal agency for the International Year of Millet (IYoM)-2023 celebrations. In fact, India is now taking the lead in popularizing the theme in a strong manner at the international level through various campaigns. To commemorate this important occasion, the quiz is being organized for the International Year of Millets in 2023.

Terms and Conditions
- The Quiz is being organized by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India / क्विज का आयोजन कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा किया जाएगा।
- Participants from all over the world and of all nationalities are eligible to enter the quiz. / दुनिया भर के सभी प्रतिभागी क्विज में भाग लेने के पात्र हैं।
- The quiz will be available for all contestants for the period of 5 minutes. / क्विज 5 मिनट की अवधि के लिए सभी प्रतियोगियों के लिए उपलब्ध होगा।
- These questions will be based on the millets and its benefits. / प्रश्न बाजरा और इसके लाभों पर आधारित होंगे।
- The quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks the Start Quiz button. / जैसे ही प्रतिभागी स्टार्ट क्विज बटन पर क्लिक करेगा, क्विज शुरू हो जाएगा।
- You will be required to provide your name, email address, telephone number and postal address. By submitting your contact details, you will give consent to these details being used for the purpose of the Quiz. / आपको अपना नाम, ईमेल, टेलीफोन नंबर और डाक पता प्रदान करना होगा। अपना संपर्क विवरण सबमिट करके, आप क्विज के उद्देश्य के लिए उपयोग किए जा रहे इन विवरणों के लिए सहमति देंगे।
- Once submitted an entry cannot be withdrawn. / एक बार सबमिट करने के बाद प्रविष्टि वापस नहीं ली जा सकती है।
- One entrant can participate only once. Multiple entries from the same entrant will not be considered and will be discarded. / एक प्रतिभागी केवल एक बार भाग ले सकता है। एक ही प्रतिभागी द्वारा भेजी गई एक से अधिक प्रविष्टियों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा और उन्हें खारिज कर दिया जाएगा।
- Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. - In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Quiz at any time. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions. / अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों की स्थिति में, आयोजक किसी भी समय क्विज में संशोधन करने या वापस लेने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखते हैं। संदेह से बचने के लिए इन नियमों और शर्तों में संशोधन करने का अधिकार शामिल है।
- The Participant shall abide by all the rules and regulations of participating in the Quiz from time to time. / प्रतिभागी समय-समय पर क्विज में भाग लेने के सभी नियमों और विनियमों का पालन करेगा।
- Organisers reserve all rights to disqualify or refuse participation to any participant if they deem participation or association of any participant which is detrimental to the Quiz or the Organizers or partners of the Quiz. The registrations shall be void if the information received by the Organizers is illegible, incomplete, damaged, false or erroneous. / आयोजकों के पास किसी भी प्रतिभागी की भागीदारी को अयोग्य ठहराने या अस्वीकार करने के सभी अधिकार सुरक्षित हैं, जो क्विज़ या आयोजकों या क्विज़ के भागीदारों के लिए हानिकारक है। यदि आयोजकों द्वारा प्राप्त जानकारी अस्पष्ट, अपूर्ण, क्षतिग्रस्त, झूठी या गलत पाई जाती है, तो पंजीकरण अमान्य हो जाएगा।
- Organiser’s decision on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same. / क्विज पर आयोजक का निर्णय अंतिम और बाध्यकारी होगा और इसके संबंध में आगे कोई पत्राचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary. / ये नियम और शर्तें भारतीय न्यायपालिका के कानूनों द्वारा शासित होंगी।
- By entering the Quiz, the participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, mentioned above. / क्विज में प्रवेश करके, प्रतिभागी ऊपर उल्लिखित इन नियमों और शर्तों से बाध्य होने के लिए स्वीकार करता है और सहमति जताता है।
