As far as our understanding goes, the prospect of Tibet’s independence hinges on Tibetans sustaining faith in the 14th Dalai Lama – encapsulated in the belief that “No Dalai Lama means No Tibet.” However, challenges arise from China’s ongoing propaganda against the 14th Dalai Lama in Tibet, the continual influx of Han Chinese, escalating oppression of Tibetans by China, clandestine allegiance of Tibetans in Tibet to the 14th Dalai Lama, the role of the current Panchen Lama (CCP’s puppet) in selecting the 15th Dalai Lama, and the harrowing experiences faced by defenders of Tibetan independence.
These facts unmistakably indicate that China is poised to install its puppet on the Dalai Lama’s throne, akin to the Panchen Lama. We advocate for increased discourse on the question, “Who will be the 15th Dalai Lama?” as it promises greater clarity on the unfolding scenario. The concern looms over the survival of Tibetan culture in Tibet should the original Dalai Lama be absent.
