PM Internship Scheme Opens Doors for Youth to Gain Real-World Industry Experience
The Prime Minister's Internship Scheme (PMIS), an initiative of the Government of India under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is creating valuable opportunities for young people to gain practical workplace experience and enhance their employability. The scheme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing internships in leading organizations across various sectors. The Central Bank of India has released a notification for the engagement of Apprentices for the financial year 2026-27. Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for one year at the bank’s branches and offices across India.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. Applicants should have completed their graduation on or after 01 January 2022. Candidates must also be registered on the NATS Portal before applying.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of 31-05-2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBCs, and relaxation for PwD candidates.
